How to install Nuvocotto Floor Tiles?

  • The primary surface floor must be clean, dry, and durable enough to withstand moving pressure on the surface.
  • Pour a stratum solid mortar and cement (Take a handful of cement amount if the mortar does not change its shape, then the mortar is OK to use) on the primary floor. The thickness of the stratum must be 30mm and above.
  • Follow the sample design, paving tiles on that smooth surface, and then slightly use the rubber hammer to beat to make sure tiles are positioned straightly and rightly.
  • The next day, prepare the mix, fulfill the rank, and clean the tile surface. Regular, the mix includes two parts of fine sand and 1 part of cement plus a suitable amount of water, then mix them well. You can use white cement and colored powder to change the color of the mix to make the rank between tiles is more aesthetic.

You cannot lay Terracotta Floor Tiles in a paper joint. There must be a minimum of 3 mm space between tiles. This is because of two reasons. One is size variation up to 3 to 4 mm, and the edges of terracotta flooring tiles are not sharp cut.
