The Indian Institute of Architects Kerala Chapter is hosting the IIA Young Architects Festival 2022, which took place at Calicut Beach on the 27th, 28th, and 29th of October 2022. The event is being organized in conjunction with CROSSROADS by the IIA Calicut Centre and brought together over 1,000 architects from all over India, as well as eminent international architects.
The festival’s most prestigious YAF AWARDS 2022 have been announced and is open for entries from India’s promising young architects. The entries were judged in several categories, including Sustainable Architecture, Socially Responsible Architecture, Spaces for Living, Spaces for Collectivity and Collaboration, Architectural Representation or Visualization, Architectural Detailing, and Ideas for the Future. The live presentations of shortlisted entries took place during the event in October.
